What is Laughter Yoga


In a nutshell, Laughter Yoga is a unique exercise routine that blends laughter exercises with yogic breathing, which brings more oxygen to the body and brain making one  feel more energetic and bubbly.  The simple laughter exercises help people to Laugh for No Reason,  so we don’t have to rely on humor or jokes. The exercises can be adjusted to the abilities of the participating group. Laughter Yoga is based on the philosophy of “acting happiness”.  Laughter is simulated as a body exercise in a group, but with eye contact and childlike playfulness, it turns into real and contagious laughter and the benefits start flowing.  It is based on the fact that the body cannot tell the difference between fake and real laughter.  Laughter is the universal language...it has no accent, thus Laughter Yoga cuts through and  crosses all barriers:  age, gender, language, race, religion.  It has NO hidden agendas.
